 A
major trend in the contract security industry is
to push as much of the administrative tasks
(hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, billing,
etc.) as possible to the customer site. In most
of these instances, a security officer has to perform
these administrative duties. By doing this, the
security company is able to keep overhead costs
at a minimum. The downside of this is that the
security officer becomes, in essence, a part-time
clerk. Not a full-time officer. This also is the
cause of many of the payroll/billing and administrative
problems that are prevalent in the contract security
industry.

fully-trained, management employees to perform
all administrative functions. This allows
the iidon security officer to be just that. A full-time
security officer. While our costs may be slightly
higher, our customers realize greater value with
quick management response times, fewer billing
